Menu Plan for May 30-June 5, 2011


Happy Memorial Day to everyone!  We’re laying low today because we’ve already had a pretty busy weekend.  I think that it’s good to stop and reflect about why we celebrate the day, though.  Anyway, on to the Menu Plan!

Breakfast–Choice of:

  • Muffins
  • Pancakes
  • Smoothie
  • Cereal
  • Yogurt

Lunch–Choice of:

  • Sandwich
  • Quesadilla
  • Chicken Rice
  • Sack Lunch
  • Chicken Nuggets/Fish Sticks and Macaroni and Cheese


  • Monday: Breakfast for Supper—Ham, Eggs, Hash browns, Cinnamon Rolls
  • Tuesday:  Tacos
  • Wednesday: Grilled Chicken Pitas
  • Thursday: Stir Fry
  • Friday:  Chili
  • Saturday:  Left Over
  • Sunday:  Left Over

To be Baked:

  • Cinnamon Rolls
  • Pita Bread
  • Corn Bread
  • Quick bread for breakfast.  Recipe to come soon.

As always, I don’t plan it, but we do have fruit and/or veggies with every meal.  I hope that everything goes as planned but this menu is subject to change.

Welcome to summer!  I hope that the weather catches on that it’s actually summer soon….
